Celebration of Love (COL) is a non-profit organization that provides food and resources to Central Texas families in crisis. Established in 2003, COL was initially developed as a simple (one day) outreach event for local families during the Christmas holiday.  Today, COL is a multi-faceted outreach organization that assists thousands of families throughout the year by providing food as well as resources they need to get back on their feet and out of the food lines.

Our Mission Statement:

To enhance the quality of life for families, individuals and the community. By seeking out and providing services that are consistently available, accessible and responsive to the needs of individual families and groups seeking assistance, and to work with the community and volunteers to facilitate and provide these services.

With your support you will be helping us meet the needs of our communities starting with the basics, food. By meeting this very basic necessity we will work together to bring hope to many more families this year.

Our Story

Since 2003, tens of thousands of families in our community have been reached.
It all began as a simple Christmas outreach program. A small hand full of volunteers got together and assembled 500 gift boxes. Each filled with a frozen turkey and all of the traditional components of a Thanksgiving meal.
Needless to say, hundreds of lives were touched by this amazing display of love. But it was the volunteers that were impacted the most. The joy of giving was life changing.

Over the next few years, the outreach grew immensely. The hundreds turned into thousands and what began as a simple Christmas program evolved into multiple events that not only included food but also toys, coats and even bikes for the children.

In 2006, the Reaching-Out Center was born making the Celebration of Love program a year-round outreach and not just an exclusive holiday event. Families in crisis are now able to receive (much needed) assistance throughout the year.

Another significant event happened in 2006 when the Celebration of Love team answered the call to assist military families at Fort Hood. Since then, with the help of hundreds of volunteers and supporters, thousands of military families have been reached.

The men and women of our military have sacrificed so much in recent years and the strain on their families has been enormous. To many of them it has been overwhelming and unmanageable. The Celebration of Love program has been able to provide assistance to those families to help them in their time of need.
