ABOUT US

Celebration of Love is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that depends on the generous contributions of individuals and businesses who support our country’s military men and women and believe in giving back to those who courageously serve and sacrifice their lives to keep our country free. We also believe that no man, woman or child should go hungry in America.

Founded in 2003 by businessman Tom Ramsey, Celebration of Love started as a one-day holiday outreach event for approximately 500 families.  It grew into an organization which now serves thousands of families throughout the year providing supplemental food and resources.

SOLDIERS OF AMERICA

Celebration of Love recognizes the growing diverse needs of the men and and women of our U.S. military and their families as they ready for deployment, are stationed on overseas missions, or come home to new, unexpected challenges. Through our various Soldiers of America programs, we give back to these military heroes, particularly during the holidays. We are proud to support the men and women who defend our freedom, stationed at the largest U.S. military installation in the world, Fort Hood Army Base in Killeen, Texas. We salute them and all of our military heroes around the world. We provide food, bikes and toys to families at Christmas and together with our partner Caliber Collision,  “recycled rides” are gifted to military families in need of transportation. The annual Christmas giving events take place every December at Fort Hood Army Base.

REACHING OUT CENTER FOOD PANTRY

In 2006, the organization opened The Reaching Out Center Food Pantry in Pflugerville, Texas.  After outgrowing it’s original location, the pantry moved to Round Rock in 2013 where it served over 200 families each week and also provided support to Fort Hood’s ACS food pantry with canned and dried goods. Celebration of Love now operates a mobile food pantry at Shoreline Church, 15201 North Mopac Expressway, Austin, Texas. The drive-thru pantry is open to the public at 11:00am on the first Friday of each month.
