Our next Celebration of Love Christmas event takes place on Friday December 11th at Fort Hood. If you are able to travel to Killeen, Texas and pass the requirements to enter into the army installation, please compete the volunteer form below or contact us at 218-216-7755.

We are currently seeking volunteers to help greet soldiers and their families when they arrive to pick up their Christmas bicycles.  Masks must be worn at all times and volunteers are asked to practice social distancing.  The event begins at 10:00am, however volunteers must be at the distribution location at 8:00am. We will be distributing over 900 bicycles in a drive-thru setting.  The event will last all day until the last bicycle is picked up.

All visitors must pass a complete background check and will be fingerprinted upon arriving at the Fort Hood Visitor Center.  All vehicles must have proof of current registration and insurance.

Please wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.

ENTERING FORT HOOD

​

You must have a military or visitors pass to enter Fort Hood. Visitor passes can be obtained at the Marvin Leath Visitors Center which is located just off Interstate 14 (U.S. Hwy. 190) on T.J Mills Blvd, Building 69012, adjacent to the Fort Hood Main Gate.

Please be prepared to provide a current drivers license or government ID, your date of birth and your social security number. Fort Hood will conduct a background check and all visitors are fingerprinted and photographed. Please allow yourself enough time to stop at the Visitors Center to go through the security clearance process.  If you are driving your own personal vehicle into the installation, please also be prepared to show your vehicle's registration and current insurance.
